The Old City Jewish Art Center Presents:

Tu B’Shevat—New Year of Trees
Art Exhibition February 6-26th 2009

This exhibition will feature; Mixed Media Painter, Sandra Benhaim, Painter/Printmaker, Paulette Bensignor, Sculptor, Stephanie E. Dorfman, Painter, Lisa Learner, Mosaic Artist, Sharon Ritz, Maker of nature etchings that evoke the mysteries of life, Rona Cordish Satten, Professional Puppeteer, Mark Segal, Collographs by Zipporah Segal, Fine Art Realist Painter, Dori Spector, and Painter, Ruth Wolf. 

We mark this joyous day by eating fruits like pomegranates, figs, grapes, olives, and dates.  This is the seasons when the earliest blooming trees in the land of Israel “emerge from their sleep” and begin a new fruit bearing cycle. 

Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday from 1-6 PM (excluding religious holidays).  “Tu B’Shevat—New Year for trees” art exhibition will run from February 6-26th. Please stop by to browse in our BIG small crafts area and ask about our workshops!
